Help us keep The Grove Safe and Beautiful!
In an effort to maintain the integrity of our beautiful neighborhood, the Maintenance Committee advises the Board of Directors on all matters pertaining to maintenance, repair or improvement of properties in Hamlets Grove.
The Maintenance Committee encourages neighbors to report issues and help us correct them. Are you concerned with an ongoing violation?
Wish to report something? Contact the committee at: groveviolations@gmail.com
We will be discreet and fair in determining a reasonable course of action.
After all, we all want to enjoy a safe and peaceful neighborhood!
Residents who live on the pond are asked to follow two easy guidelines:
1. Create a No Mow Zone (Biofilter or Buffer) around the perimeter of the pond that is at least 8-12 inches high and 3 feet wide. The No Mow Zone helps to stabilize soil on the pond bank by providing deeper-rooted grass and by keeping the heavy riding lawn mowers off the bank. The taller grass in the No Mow Zone will help filter out fertilizer and will block grass clippings from entering the pond.
2. Reduce and/or eliminate all chemicals from entering the water of the pond. The Grove has instructed Aquagenix, our pond maintenance provider, to remove toxic chemicals in their bi-monthly treatments of the pond. You can help by not spraying lawn fertilizer or any other chemicals near the No Mow Zone. If you garden in your backyard, please use nontoxic chemical alternatives whenever possible and pull weeds by hand. Avoid overuse of fertilizers, especially near the water’s edge. Rain and lawn watering can wash excess fertilizer into the water bodies where excess nutrients cause algal blooms (green pond scum) and undesirable weed growth.
If your keys to your mailbox do not have the box # on them, you may be able to contact the seller's real estate agent and ask them to get the mailbox # from the seller. If that does not work, you will need to contact USPS. The mailboxes are managed by USPS and replacement keys can only be made by USPS.
Each home within our community has a street lamp on their property. As part of our Security Regulations, all lamps must be on and operating. Please be aware when the bulb is in need of replacement. A common issue with the lamp not working could be a defective electric eye and can easily be replaced.
No car may remain parked on the street overnight when there is space available on the driveway or garage. This excludes tradesman while performing work on the premises. If there is a requirement for overnight street parking, the vehicles on the driveway should be pulled forward as far as possible and the extra vehicle should be at the foot of your driveway perpendicular to the driveway.
Never park on a “corner” because it obstructs the view of drivers on the circle.
No commercial vehicles are allowed except in the garage.
No boats, campers, or other recreational vehicles can be stored on any lot except when loading, unloading or cleaning before or after use.
No parking on any lawn or landscaping. Parking only in your garage, on your pavers or concrete driveway and on the street when no other parking available
When circumstances do arise where you need to temporarily park a vehicle on the street overnight please be aware of traffic flow and move to driveway as soon as possible.
